illegal fireworks

NEVER tamper, alter, or make fireworks.

Fireworks are safety tested by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and US DOT.  We sell Class C (Consumer) fireworks that comply with the CPSA and DOT.

As soon as a Class C (Consumer) firework is altered, it is considered an illegal explosive and is now enforced by the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).  Those in possession or guilty of tampering with such illegal explosives are subject to federal prosecution, fines and jail time.

Illegal Explosives are very dangerous with the potential for injury to yourself or others.  Many times, illegal fireworks have powder residue on the wrapping that can detonate with friction, heat or even if bumped!

Illegal fireworks do not have a warning label like legal fireworks; warning labels are required by federal law.  They may look like a roll of coins with a fuse and are typically wrapped in red, silver or brown paper.

These are all illegal explosives: M-80, cherry bomb, ash can, M-100, silver salute, M-250, M-1000, quarter stick, half stick, ladyfingers, salutes, shells with more than 60g powder, and sparkler bombs.
